Practice Nurse

One of our nurses will phone you back with test results or with any advice required that you request by telephone. You may phone in for repeat prescriptions, but only at intervals determined by your doctor as being appropriate for you.

Home Visits

Home visits can be arranged if you are too unwell to attend the medical centre. Please telephone to request such visits as early in the day as possible. You will be advised of the approximate time that the doctor is able to visit and costs.

Hoon Hay Medical Centre fully supports the Health and Disability Service Code of Rights. Hoon Hay Medical Centre is committed to meeting our obligations under the Health Information Privacy Code (HIPC) to protect the privacy of your health information. To ensure the we meet our obligations we have:

  • Appointed a privacy officer. The privacy officer for our practice is the Practice Manager. If you wish to speak to them, please contact reception.
  • Developed a privacy policy for our practice which guides us in the way that we collect, use, store and disclose your health information.
