One of our nurses will phone you back with test results or with any advice required that you request by telephone. You may phone in for repeat prescriptions, but only at intervals determined by your doctor as being appropriate for you.
For medical advice after hours, please telephone the medical centre on
03 338 8179 and your call will be answered by a registered nurse.
For after hours medical care we recommend the 24 Hour Surgery at 401 Madras Street. From 21 September 2023 they will be closing from midnight to 8am each night (doors close at 10pm) due to nurse shortages. They aim to return to 24 hour care as soon as they can. Please see our news item for more information.
Home visits can be arranged if you are too unwell to attend the medical centre. Please telephone to request such visits as early in the day as possible. You will be advised of the approximate time that the doctor is able to visit and costs.
